First Art Night on the Bayfront of 2012

Thats right the first Art Night on the Bayfront of 2012 is just a few days away. After the huge success of our Spring Fling event we are ready to kick off the Art Night on the Bayfront Series from now through November. Join us Wednesday the 25th from 4pm-til Sunset (or maybe 8pm) for this family friendly Art Walk. We will kick the series off with 30+ artists, music, and much much more!

The Pensacola Museum of Art will host a children’s activity during Art Night
on the Bayfront! Come and join the fun, and be a part of the oversized
group art project and take home a little masterpiece of your own.

Lear to Read of Northwest Florida will be there as well with some fun activities that are associated with their Chalk it up Pensacola event scheduled for May 12th.

You won’t want to miss this kick off event!!

Spring Fling on the Bayfront and this months Art à la carte!!

It is finally around the corner!!! The event you have all been waiting for!!! The first annual Spring Fling on the Bayfront art, wine & music festival. Come join us March 24th and 25 from 11-5 each day and enjoy wandering around Pensacola’s most beautiful vantage point, the Bayfront while looking at some of the great and unique pieces of art from our very talented local artists and hearing music from some great local musicians. On Sunday you can join us for a wine festival from 1-5, sampling 60 wines and enjoying the rest of the festival. We will also have bottles and cases of each so you can take home some of your favorites!

Tickets are on sale for $30 now in person at Jaco’s and online here TICKETS The price goes up on event day and we can only guarantee commemative wine glasses to the first 250 purchased tickets, so get yours today!

December 28th Art Night on the Bayfront

Come join us next Wednesday as we fill Avenida King Juan Carlos Promenade with art and music. Bring your family, friends, and associates as we wrap up the 2011 series of Art Night on the Bayfront. As always we will start at 4PM and since we have lighting we will still continue till about 8PM. You won’t want to miss this one since we will not have the event in January and February and will kick off the 2012 series with a large art and wine festival in March.

Our other series Art à la carte will continue throughout the year inside Jaco’s on the first Wednesday of every month. As a teaser, Tobbe Byrd will be our January featured artist for this series. You will definitely want to come check out her work!

Centine Bianco (White)

Brilliant yellow in color, this sophisticated white cuvée offers alluring aromas of pear, apricot, and lime, with a hint of herbs. Lush flavors on the palate supported by crisp acidity.

Centine Rosso di Toscana (Red)

Intense ruby red in color. Fragrant bouquet, with dark fruit and floral nuances. Medium-bodied, with black cherry and tart plum flavors and hints of spice.

Tomorrow nights Art Night on the Bayfront looks like it is going to be our largest yet! We have a huge line up of artists that have already committed to be there tomorrow night. They are all set up with tons of great gift giving items for you to purchase. They will all have lighting in their areas so you will be able to continue to shop well past sunset.

We will have music in 3 areas for you to enjoy. In the fountain area we will have Three Bean Soup . On the North side of Jaco’s we will have two of our favorite regulars Nicole Ponder & Jessica Heit . And in the Southern end of Plaza DeLuna we will be featuring Kitt Lough . They are all planning to mix in a few Christmas tunes to help get you in the gift giving spirit!

Make sure you stop by The Pensacola Museum of Art’s tent and see how you can help support your local museum. Also make sure you stop by the Condor Sailing Adventures table to enter for your chance to win a sailing cruise for two. The will also have gift certificates available for that sailor or sailor want to be on your gift list.
